OverView
Art Undercover is the Patchogue Art’s Councils walkable gallery. According to PAC, public art is where creativity meets the everyday. By turning sidewalks into galleries through projects like Outside the Box, murals, and the large-scale outdoor artworks featured throughout this project, the whole community is invited to look closer and think deeper about Patchogue.
The project brief was to design a campaign for PAC’s walking arts tour that can appeal to both children and adults. The deliverables were a scavenger map, adult brochure, children brochure, scavenger hunt card, social media ads, and stickers.

Design Story
For this project, I was given free reign on the art direction as long as it appealed to both adults and children. I approached this project by first brainstorming concepts that could be versatile enough to be more playful or more mature depending on how it’s presented. I also created mood boards for both the campaign concept as well as possible brochure folds. The main source of inspiration came from PAC being a contemporary museum. I was also drawn to a detective theme- which heavily influenced the campaign copy for the social media advertisements. Design-wise, I focused on geometric shapes and also made sure to incorporate PAC’s brand colors and font. After client, professor, and peer review, I ultimately landed on the final designs for the deliverables for this campaign.
Conclusion
Through doing this project, I gained knowledge of how create a whole campaign that requires many deliverables. I also learned how to maintain consistency in all aspects of the project such as typography, color palette, and design elements- which is important for creating a cohesive campaign. By reviewing with the client, my professor, and my peers I was able to refine this campaign into these final products. I’m proud to announce that I was the winning designer in my agency class for the campaign. With that being said, my design will be printed and posted for Patchogue Art Council’s walkable gallery!
